Fire Safety Reports for petroleum storage facilities and petrochemical industry performed according to international codes and standards (e.g. NFPA, API etc.), national legislation and national Fire Protection Agency Guidelines.

Fire Protection Services include:

  • Modeling and simulation of hydraulic models, dynamic analysis and what-if scenarios for fire protection systems (Piping Systems FluidFlow V.3, Software). Realistic modeling of complex systems including all accessories and equipment : flow controllers, boosters, valves, pressure reducers / controllers, nozzles, filters, etc.
  • Fluid flow simulation in complex networks, scenarios for water hydrant supply networks, pressure measurements, flow rates and temperatures. Providing solutions based on mass consistency principles, momentum and energy (Darcy Weisbach equation, Bernoulli’s principles etc.)
  • Design and optimization of flow systems

Explosion risk protection services – ATEX Area Classification

ATEX studies according to ATEX Workplace directive 99/92/EC of the European Parliament and the Council on “Minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres”. Services include the categorization of ATEX equipment according to their potential risk and the criticality of the production process, while areas of the facilities are categorized according to risk due to the existence of flammable and explosive gasses (Area Classification).
